Artis Pabriks is a Latvian politician and academic, currently serving as the Chair of the Board at the MilTech Association of Latvia. He has held various prominent positions, including Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister of Latvia since January 2019, Member of the European Parliament, where he was actively involved in defense and foreign policy matters. Artis Pabriks holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Aarhus University and has co-authored works on Baltic regional cooperation and European integration.
