Pieter van Beekhuizen has spent his entire career in the space sector, starting with ESRO and later holding various roles at ESA, including Head of the Industrial Cost Auditing and Return Division. He played a key role in program reviews, industrial audits, and European space commercialization initiatives.After retiring from ESA, he founded Bexperience, a consultancy supporting clients globally. He serves on the board of SSPF, supporting Dutch space students, and was appointed Chairman of the Netherlands Space Society (NVR) in 2024.Internationally, Pieter chairs the IAF CLIODN Committee (2024–2027), co-chairs the IAA Symposium on Space Policy, and is on the Executive Board of the Colombian Space Agency. As of 2025, he is also a Board Member of Women in Aerospace – Europe. He is a regular moderator and panelist at global space events.
