Sinead served as the Chief Strategist to Professor Michael Porter at Harvard Business School’s Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness. Prior to that, she led MIT’s research on emerging technology, national security, and democracy.Her background is in Aerospace Engineering, and she has led numerous NextGen technology design projects for NASA, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Navy.She is currently a Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology and serves as a Board Member of the European Space Policy Institute.Sinead holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is also a Presidential Fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineering.
